The SBA has announced they will open the portal for SVOG (Shuttered Venue Operator Grants) on Monday, April 26 at 12pm EST.
They have also provided the new FAQs and the new User Guide:
They were heavily advised by legislators and others not to open on a weekend but did not follow that advice.
There is $16.3 billion available in federal grant money, which will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis, so applicants that meet all of the requirements for these grants should be ready to push the button on April 24.
